7" Digital Soldering Microscope with Remote and Dual Side Lights
Product description
High-clearance adjustable stand for tool access: This unit uses a taller, adjustable metal stand rather than a low-profile base, so you can fit soldering irons, tweezers and other tools beneath the head without them being obstructed. The taller clearance helps you work on logic boards and perform precision microsoldering without needing to hunch over.
7-inch IPS display with lag-free 1080P feedback: The integrated 7" IPS screen shows a full HD image with wide viewing angles and natural color rendering. That combination helps when identifying burnt or discolored components and when distinguishing copper traces from the solder mask during inspection.
Dual flexible gooseneck auxiliary lamps: Two side-mounted gooseneck lights are supplied so you can angle illumination to remove hotspots and glare typical of reflective PCBs. A dedicated brightness wheel lets you fine-tune contrast for reading laser markings, inspecting solder joints, or checking tiny SMD parts down to 0201/0402 sizes.
Vibration-minimizing remote control: The included remote lets you take 16MP photos, capture video and apply digital zoom without touching the microscope body, which reduces image shaking while documenting solder bridges, burnt traces or other defects.
USB Type-C PC camera mode for expanded viewing: Connect the microscope to a Windows machine (via HiView/Camera) or a Mac (Photo Booth) over USB-C to use it as a live PC camera. This is handy for larger-screen inspections, demonstrations, customer fault reporting, or measurement with compatible software. The kit typically includes the microscope head, the height-adjustable stand, two flexible lamps, the remote control, a USB-C cable and a user guide.
Pros
- True-color 7" IPS display with wide viewing angles
- Remote control enables hands-off photos and videos
- Adjustable tall stand and flexible lamps reduce glare and improve access
Cons
- Image can be soft at higher magnifications
- Single USB-C port design may limit simultaneous power/PC output
- Side lights and mount height can interfere with some setups
VerdictA capable desktop microscope focused on soldering and PCB inspection: the 7" IPS screen and adjustable high-clearance stand make precision work less tiring, while the remote and dual side lamps help reduce shake and glare during documentation. The USB-C PC camera mode and dedicated light control add versatility for training or fault analysis. It isn’t flawless—some users report soft edges at highe

Great for coin inspection
I use this mainly to examine coins. It performs nicely; the side lights can get in the way but they are removable. Overall very enjoyable to use.

Arrived in poor condition
Unit didn’t work and appeared to have been tampered with or previously repaired. Looked used and damaged when it arrived.

Works in some situations
Bought to inspect bent pins on an AMD Ryzen CPU but couldn’t get a crisp enough focus for that task. Could be operator error or a limitation of the optics.

Works as expected
Simple to set up and functions well. Good performance for the cost.

Delighted with the purchase
Very pleased with the product—arrived as expected and matches the description. It won’t reveal bacteria, but for the price and purpose it performs well and I’m happy with it.

I love this game! 3/5
Design limits its usefulness for some tasks
Decent little microscope for the price, but the USB-C input doubles as the video output which means you can’t easily power it and feed video to a PC at the same time without extra hardware. The stand is also too short for my fixed-angle knife-sharpening rig, so I couldn’t monitor material removal on the apex as I’d hoped.

Useful but room for improvement
Nice unit for basic work — I was surprised to find it has an internal battery so it doesn’t always need to be plugged in. Image sharpness could be better; even at best settings things look a bit soft.

Very capable but some quirks
Received as a gift and it’s impressive for general close-up work. It handles a lot of subjects well and looks excellent on a computer monitor. The lights sometimes obstruct focus controls and magnification knobs, and the Mac software was less smooth than the PC experience. Power cable length is short but easily extended.
