10.1" LCD Digital Soldering Microscope for PCB Repair and Inspection
Product description
This kit is designed for electronics repair and detailed surface inspection. The set typically includes the 10.1-inch LCD camera head with mounted lens, a weighted metal stand and base, two adjustable LED stage lights, a USB-C cable for charging/power, and a basic user guide. The camera feeds directly to the built-in screen so you can work without tethering to a computer.
The optical assembly uses molded lens elements feeding a digital sensor; the viewing surface is shown on a 10.1" diagonal LCD at selectable resolutions (common options include 1080 and 720 settings). The unit runs on an internal rechargeable battery or can be powered via the supplied USB-C connection. Controls and a compact menu let you change resolution, exposure compensation and capture stills or video to onboard storage.
Mechanically, the microscope mounts to a solid metal column and weighted base that help reduce vibration during high-magnification work. The lens height and focus are adjustable so you can set working distance for PCBs, small components, coins, watches or jewelry. Two directional LED stage lights are included to reduce shadows and brighten the subject; they are dimmable and can be aimed to suit the task.
This tool is optimized for opaque surfaces — circuit boards, solder joints, discrete parts and other solid objects where surface detail is needed. It isn’t intended for microscopy of slides, biological samples, or handheld pocket use. For bench-level soldering, inspection and hobby exploration it provides a larger, immediate live view that simplifies repetitive fine work.
Pros
- Large 10.1" live display for comfortable, detailed viewing
- Sturdy metal base reduces vibration at high magnification
- Integrated battery and USB-C power for flexible placement
Cons
- Optics use molded/plastic elements, not premium glass
- Some units arrive with fitment or assembly issues
- Not suitable for transmitted-light or slide microscopy
VerdictA roomy 10.1" screen and a sturdy metal base deliver a stable, real-time view ideal for PCB repair, SMD work and hobby electronics. Good optics and flexible lighting give reliable detail; some units may need careful inspection on arrival.

Disappointed — arrived with problems
Mine showed up with missing pieces and a cross-threaded base. Overall assembly quality felt poor, so I can’t recommend it based on my experience.

Bright 10.1" display with solid magnification
I replaced an older unit and the bright 10.1" screen is a big upgrade. The rechargeable battery lasts through multiple sessions and the two extra stage LEDs cut down shadows nicely. I haven’t tried the remote, but the view while soldering is much clearer.

Clean image and built-in battery
Produces a crisp picture and the internal battery is convenient. It performed better than I expected given its price point.

Handy for micro-soldering and great for kids
Large screen really magnifies work areas and focusing is straightforward. Battery life gets through a full day of hobby work and the device is fun for curious children to explore coins and small specimens.

Fantastic for a classroom or science corner
Easy to set up and store. Kids enjoyed examining coins and tiny details. Unit includes a USB-C cable; note the screen and lights are powered separately and the LEDs have a dimmer rather than a simple on/off toggle.

Great value, especially with the heavy base
Weighted base and solid mount keep things steady at high magnification. Setup was quick and focusing and height adjustment are simple. Stills and video worked fine for basic documentation.

Large screen really improves visibility
Upgrading from a smaller viewer made a big difference. Bright flexible lighting and multiple magnifications help, and the metal base avoids the wobble I saw on cheaper plastic mounts.

Excellent optics and useful capture features
The large diagonal screen provides a superb live image. The menu lets you pick resolution and tweak exposure; color and contrast were very good with no obvious distortion. Image capture and video options are easy to use.
