Sturdy, well-built gate — purchased another
I bought a two-pack to secure the stairs for my granddaughter and installation was straightforward. The door stays open at 90° for carrying things and otherwise snaps closed automatically. Build quality and the powder-coated finish feel robust. We liked them so much I bought a third for my own house. Highly recommended.

Best choice among our many gates
We’ve used several brands over the years and now have three of these because they’re the most stable and easiest to install. The instructions and installation video are helpful, and the included red zip tie makes alignment simple. My only gripe is there are just two wall cushions per gate; I’d prefer extras for different wall profiles. Still, the pressure fit handles even lively 30 lb dogs.

Solid, easy-to-use gate — bought more
We originally tried one to see if it would be sturdy yet simple to walk through, and it exceeded expectations. The latch is easy for adults, secure when closed, and the auto-close works reliably. Great value and very versatile

Measure twice — some configurations leave gaps
This gate fits wide openings well, but the different assembly configurations have small gaps between their ranges—about half an inch—so certain measurements fall between settings. I also ran into an issue with quarter-round baseboards and had to add a small wood block for a secure mount. It worked after a little modification, but be aware of baseboard details.

Thoughtful installation aids and sleek look

Built-in door saves hassle with pets
