6-Pack Window Glass Break Alarms — Vibration Sensor, 130 dB, Long Life
Product description
What you get: a set of six window glass break alarms; each device ships with three LR44 button batteries already installed so the units are ready to use straight away.
Build and size: each alarm is housed in a lightweight, impact-resistant plastic enclosure with a sticky foam pad on the back for mounting. Units are compact (roughly 2 x 2 x 0.6 inches), low-profile and available in a black and silver finish.
Power and sound: the siren is engineered to reach up to 130 dB to attract attention and startle intruders. With the included LR44 batteries the manufacturer quotes about 9–12 months of typical use before replacement is expected.
Sensors and controls: the alarm uses a vibration/shock detector to trigger on glass impact or a forceful opening. A small slide switch on the side turns the unit on or off; when switched on the LED flashes for a few seconds to confirm activation. A mute/standby button in the center silences an active alarm and leaves the sensor armed to detect the next event.
Installation: stick the unit to clean, dry glass using the pre-applied adhesive pad—peel off the protective film and press the alarm in place. No tools are required and a single alarm can be installed in under a minute.
Limitations and use cases: because these rely on vibration, they excel at detecting glass breakage and windows forced open with impact. They are not optimized for all doors or some sliding windows that open easily without significant vibration; a magnetic-contact sensor is a better choice for those applications. These alarms are intended as a simple, stand-alone deterrent and a supplement to other security measures for homes, offices and recreational vehicles.
Pros
- Very loud 130 dB siren
- Simple peel-and-stick installation
- Preinstalled LR44 batteries for quick setup
Cons
- Can be overly sensitive to minor vibrations
- Not ideal for all sliding doors or non-impact openings
- Some users report inconsistent battery life or failures
VerdictEffective, low-cost deterrents for windows where impact or forced entry would cause noticeable vibration. Very loud and easy to install; excellent as a first line of defense. Some units can be overly sensitive or show inconsistent longevity, so check each unit after installation.

Will buy again when I need more
They do the job and are extremely loud. Loud enough to startle anyone trying to break in.

Deters break-ins effectively
After several break-ins nearby we put these on our windows. They trigger on rattles or impact, not just shattered glass, and the siren carries through a two-story house. We bought a bunch and feel much safer with them in place.

Solid little alarms
I placed them on every window and tested by tapping outside — they’re very loud. A cheap alternative to a monitored system and saves on installation and monthly fees.

Too many dead units
I don’t usually leave negative feedback, but most of mine failed quickly. I tested multiple rounds with fresh batteries and the result was the same: many units were dead or drained fast. They may still work as visible deterrents, but as functioning alarms they disappointed. Check each unit after installation.

Extremely sensitive — maybe too much
They work as designed and pick up the slightest vibration, and they’re very loud. The downside is they’re triggered by everyday noises — my dog barking sets them off — so they can be inconvenient and end up turned off often. Adhesion is good, and installation is easy.

Gives me peace of mind
Glad I bought these. One arrived broken but I had extras. Of the ten I installed only one has been problematic — it goes off often and won’t stop for long periods, even when neighbors’ noise or my dog triggers it. The rest work fine and are pretty loud; the malfunctioning unit sounds well after hours and can be heard outside.

Simple, basic protection
Exactly what I needed for garage windows — they turn on and off and will sound if someone bangs on the glass. I have five on garage windows and they stick well. No adjustable sensitivity or volume, but for the price they’re a solid value and are audible inside the attached house.

Very sensitive and reliable
They pick up the smallest tap on the glass and scream. If you have an outer screen, the alarm usually won’t trigger unless the screen is removed and the glass is actually disturbed. I put one by my front door window; a light knock sets it off. In a condo where people walk by and my small dog jumps at the window, they’ll go off, so I sometimes turn them off. Highly recommended when you’re at home — tampering won’t go unnoticed.
