Battery drains quickly
Battery died in the safe within 3 days even using a lithium battery and without opening the unit.

Solid unit — careful installation required
A few things to note before you install: the safe is hefty (about 50 lbs) and the door alone is roughly half that. I took the door off to mount the cabinet, which makes handling easier; putting it back is straightforward though hinge bolts may need loosening to fine‑tune alignment. Inspect the wall cavity first — I recommend cutting a small access window so you can see inside before final trimming. My only gripe is the narrow trim lip, so cut carefully. I would buy it again.

Good safe, but not fireproof
This is a good hidden wall safe, however it is not truly fireproof. It includes a small fireproof pouch, but the cabinet itself won’t withstand a significant fire. If you need fire protection for documents, this model may not meet that requirement.

Well-built — would purchase again
My wife wanted a safe and this size was perfect. It fit beautifully between the studs and feels very well made. I’d recommend it and would buy it again. The hidden bottom compartment is a nice touch.

Exactly what I wanted to keep valuables out of sight. Best used with 16" stud centers, this in‑wall unit saves floor space by sitting flush in the wall. I hung a painting over it and no one notices.
