Shashibo Dodeca Magnetic Puzzle — 4-Pack Shape‑Shifting Cubes
Product description
What’s included: This set contains four Shashibo Dodeca magnetic puzzle cubes in assorted designs. Each unit arrives ready to unfold, link, and combine with the others in the box.
Construction and materials: Each cube is built from durable ABS plastic panels with decorative faces and 36 embedded neodymium magnets arranged to allow multiple connections. The faces are finished with adhesive patterns that create the visible designs when folded. Hinges are engineered for smooth folding and a tactile click as magnetic faces align.
Size and handling: Each Shashibo cube measures roughly 2 inches (about 5 cm) per side in its closed cube form and expands when unfolded into larger, more complex shapes. The pieces are sized for comfortable gripping by older children and adults, and their weight gives a pleasant, substantial feel when manipulating the magnetic joints.
How it’s used: Start with a closed cube and explore the many transformations by folding panels and letting the magnets snap into place. Cubes can be combined with one another to build larger assemblies and more elaborate geometric sculptures. The toy is designed for quiet, screen-free play and can be used as a focus aid, a creative tool for making geometric forms, or simply a satisfying fidget during idle moments.
Compatibility and collecting: All Shashibo Dodeca pieces in the product family are cross-compatible, so you can mix and match colors and patterns to expand the variety of possible shapes. The design supports open-ended exploration, from guided builds to freeform experimentation.

Great gift, a bit pricey
Nice present for my grandson — he enjoys them a lot. I did think the set was a touch expensive, but the kids like how they fold and combine.

Fun for all ages
I bought one to keep and others to give away. As a senior I was delighted to make surprisingly complex forms like a rhombic dodecahedron. Don’t force the folds; let the magnets guide you. The best configurations snap neatly into place and feel great in the hands.

Satisfying and surprisingly educational
I bought a couple of these on impulse and my grandkids loved them so much they walked away with mine! The magnets click satisfyingly and folding the cubes into new forms turned into a geometry lesson for all of us. After the visit I ordered the four-pack to keep at home — such a fun, hands-on toy. Plenty of online videos show the transformations if you want demos.

Engaging but shop around for deals
My son enjoys building new designs and fidgeting with them. You really benefit from having multiple cubes; one alone can get repetitive. One of the four designs here was less exciting, so choose sets carefully. I ended up buying during a sale and felt that was the right value point.

Lessons in patience and play
Bought these for my advanced 7‑year‑old grandson, but tested them first. At first I struggled to make interesting shapes, then realized I needed to be more playful and let the pieces move. Beautiful design, comfortable size, smooth joints and a pleasant clicking sound when magnets snap together.

Perfect for a curious kid
My teen was bored of standard twisty puzzles and took to these immediately. I picked one up after seeing an ad; my daughter thought it was great too and recommended the four-pack for my son’s Christmas. He’s been fascinated with the different shapes he can make ever since.

Fantastic play value, watch the stickers
We gave the four-pack to our kids at Christmas. They were initially puzzled but quickly loved folding and merging the cubes into wild shapes. The cubes feel solid and bend cleverly, but the sticker faces on some have started to peel, which hurts the appearance and folding precision.
