HEATFUN Dual USB‑C Controller Charger Dock with LED Indicators — Black
Product description
Wide compatibility and what’s in the box
This dock is intended primarily for official Switch Pro and Switch 2 Pro controllers and is also compatible with PlayStation 5 DualSense and Xbox Series X|S controllers, including the Xbox Elite Series 2. It is not compatible with certain third-party pads such as PowerA or Luna-branded controllers. The package ships with multiple USB‑C plug adapters (four small adapters in total) that push into controller USB‑C ports to allow simple drop-in charging without repeatedly plugging cables into the controller.
Design, materials and size
The charging base is finished in matte black ABS plastic with metal charging contacts and small anti-slip pads on the underside to keep it steady. The dock’s footprint is compact—approximately the size of a small paperback—so it fits on TV stands, desks, or next to consoles without taking up much room. The dock is low-profile with a shallow cradle designed to hold controllers upright when the adapter is installed.
Power and charging behavior
For stable, efficient charging the manufacturer recommends a 5V/2A USB power adapter. Lower-power USB ports or adapters can lead to slower charging or intermittent behavior. LED indicators on the front of each cradle show charging status at a glance (single-color LEDs indicate charging and full states). Installing the USB‑C adapter fully and removing bulky controller cases when docking will improve alignment and contact reliability.
Usage notes and care
The included USB‑C plug adapters help reduce wear on the controller’s built-in port by keeping the dock’s contacts separate from the controller. When inserting an adapter into a controller, press firmly until it seats securely. Keep track of the small adapters — there’s no dedicated storage compartment on the dock — and avoid letting small children handle them unsupervised.
Pros
- Charges two controllers simultaneously
- Includes USB‑C plug adapters to reduce port wear
- Compact footprint with visible LED charge indicators
Cons
- Small adapters can be misplaced easily
- Not compatible with some third‑party controllers
- May be inconsistent on low‑power USB sources
VerdictConvenient, space-saving charger that powers two controllers at once and includes plug-in USB‑C adapters to avoid port wear. Works well with many first-party controllers, but some third-party models and certain battery pack arrangements aren’t supported. Use a 5V/2A adapter for reliable performance.

Worked well, then started cutting out
It charged fine at first but now only powers for about a minute before shutting off. Unplugging and replugging temporarily fixes it. Tried different sockets and cables with the same result.

Does the job, but fiddly adapters
The tiny USB‑C plugs are a bit annoying and the connection can be touchy, but it still charges my controller reliably.

Dependable dual charger
Handles Pro 2 controllers and third‑party pads well. Fast charging and solid build—highly recommended.

Works with my PDP controllers
Perfect match for my PDP Afterglow Switch controllers. There’s a small wobble while docked, but charging is unaffected.

Easy and reliable (translated)
I charge my Pro Controller 2 and PS5 pad with this. No problems so far, and not having to constantly plug and unplug Type‑C ports is very convenient.

Neat and tidy setup
Replaced loose charging cables and it’s been a great space saver. LEDs are bright and it charges quickly. Build feels solid and controllers click into place consistently.

Great for Switch 2 Pro controllers
I use this with two Switch 2 Pro controllers. You insert the small adapters into the controllers, then drop them in. Firmly seat the adapter—it's a snug fit and holds well when docking from above.

Handy for collections
Great for anyone with multiple controllers. The little adapter nub is worth it for the drop‑in convenience—charges quickly and stays cool.
-

Mostly solid with a caveat
Great for Switch Pro and Xbox Elite with built‑in battery packs. It won’t support external USB‑C charge packs that sit separately because the controller won’t stand properly when using those.

Good idea, awkward execution
The concept is smart but the loose adapters are easy to lose and there’s no place on the dock to store them. It charges fine but those small pieces reduce long‑term convenience.
