Wild Woods Plush Squirrel Wand — Interactive Cat Toy (13.3")

Product description

This interactive wand arrives as a complete play set: a plush, tree-branch–style handle attached to a stretchy rope and a soft squirrel teaser. The materials include short plush fabric along the entire length of the wand and tail, a flexible elastic cord, fluttery feathers, crinkle elements and a catnip-filled section in the squirrel to pique feline interest.

Dimensions are provided for precise fit: wand measures 13.3 x 2 x 0.8 inches (L x W x H), the rope extends about 20.5 inches, and the squirrel teaser is roughly 5 x 2.3 x 0.8 inches (L x W x H). Use it by waving, flicking or sliding the wand to simulate prey movements — the elastic cord produces darting, bouncing action while the plush construction is gentle for biting, grabbing and bunny-kicking. Spot clean only.

Pros

  • All-plush design easy for cats to grip and carry
  • Multiple sensory elements: crinkle, feathers, catnip
  • Stretchy cord produces realistic prey-like motion

Cons

  • Feathers may not withstand very rough chewers
  • Spot clean only — not machine washable
  • Elastic cord could wear with prolonged heavy use

VerdictAn engaging fishing-pole style toy that encourages full-body activity. The all-plush construction makes it easy for cats to grasp and carry, while the stretchy cord and sensory details (crinkle, feathers, catnip) keep sessions lively. Good for kittens and adult cats who enjoy stalking and pouncing.

Reviews

  1. Mandy H 4/5

Simple, great for kids and cats

Straightforward toy that has become a favorite in our house. My kids take turns waving it and the cats stay engaged instead of getting bored. The swap-out ends are helpful — the little plush bird attracts attention with its fuzzy bits while the longer stretchy tail creates a different, erratic motion. Sliding it along the floor and using the elastic cord keeps the cats chasing and jumping.

  2. Mrs. Blevins 5/5

    Popsicle-approved

Reliable toy. Popsicle goes nuts for the bee and moth-style attachments — great entertainment and a happy cat.

  3. M. Cris Merz 5/5

    Soft and charming

Adorable wand — my kitten is obsessed. The plush fabric is soft and the short handle is easy for him to swat and carry.

    Two attachments, lots of action

High-quality wand set with two interchangeable ends. Size works well for both my adult cat and kitten; the flexible handle gives good control and the stretchy cord makes lively, darting movements that trigger pounces. Swapping pieces is easy and the toy resists chewing surprisingly well.

  5. P. J. 5/5

    She can’t get enough

My kitten plays with this constantly. Simple but exactly what she loves.

  6. V 5/5

    Keeps them entertained for ages

My cats love wand toys and this one exceeded expectations. The weighted handle feels comfortable, the compact length is convenient for close play, and both attachments screw on securely. The bird attachment is a standout — feathers and noise keep the kittens interested far longer than plain toys. Stretch in the cord adds durability during rough play.

  7. Ragamonster 5/5

    Well built, feathers don’t last

Solid construction and my cat adores it, but the feathers didn’t last long with his enthusiastic attacks. Still a favorite toy.
