Patented Deshedding Cat Brush — Compact Grooming Tool for All Coats
Product description
Patented grooming tool built in the USA to tackle loose fur and undercoat on cats, small dogs and rabbits. The kit consists of the handheld deshedding tool itself; no extra parts are required to use it. Its compact head comes in multiple widths so you can choose a size that suits a small cat or a larger, fluffier companion—one commonly chosen head size measures about 6.3 cm across for broader strokes.
The body is finished in wood for a comfortable grip and natural feel, while short, closely spaced metal teeth extract loose hairs without dragging. The teeth are short enough to reach the undercoat and pull out hidden debris but gentle when used correctly. The tool is manual and requires only steady, slow strokes along the coat in the direction of hair growth.
It works on all coat types: short-haired cats, medium coats and long, dense fur. For short coats it can be enough by itself; for thicker or longer coats it excels at removing the loose undercoat before you finish with a slicker brush to smooth and style.
Beyond grooming the pet, the removed fur is easy to clear from carpets, bedding and cat trees, and the compact shape gives precise control around armpits, the belly and other sensitive spots. Many owners also find pets respond positively to the tool’s massaging action, making grooming a calmer experience.
Because it’s a manual implement, it’s quiet and doesn’t startle noise-sensitive animals. It’s often recommended as part of a grooming routine rather than a complete one-step solution for every coat type—combine with other brushes if you work on very dense or matted fur. Still, as a focused deshedder it’s a solid, durable take-anywhere groomer.

VerdictA simple, well-made manual deshedding tool that really reduces loose fur and undercoat on a range of pets. Pets often tolerate it better than other combs, it’s available in several head widths (a 6.3 cm version fits a palm nicely), and the wooden housing plus short teeth make it durable and easy to control. Best used as the primary tool to extract loose coat, then followed by a slicker brush for s

Does Exactly What the Ads Promise
I was skeptical, but it works—easy to use, my cat enjoys it, and it pulls old undercoat effectively. Using it regularly has noticeably cut down the hair I find on the floors.

Even My Brush-Hating Cats Loved It
Two cats who’ve never tolerated brushing leaned in and purred while I used this. It removed far more loose fur than my slicker did; I then used the slicker to tidy the coat. Very impressive for stubborn, grooming-averse pets.

Perfect for Reluctant Brushers
All three of my cats normally resist brushing, and two are heavy shedders. This tool reduced loose hair around the house and made grooming less of a battle. Helps keep floors cleaner without stressing the pets.

Great for Long-Haired Cats
Does a solid job on my long-haired cat, removing shedding coat and small bits of debris after he comes in from outside. Compact, easy to hold and gives good control. He still dislikes being brushed, so I gave four stars.

Real Results on a Short-Haired Shedder
Perfect for my short, fine-haired cat — five minutes and a huge pile of fur came away. She purred the whole time and even let me brush her belly. Only caution: the teeth are a bit jagged at the tips, so avoid the eyes and mouth.

Maine Coon Finally Tolerates Grooming — Game Changer
My Maine Coon used to hate every brush; sessions ended in fleeing or bites. This tool completely changed that. It gently pulled out mats and loose undercoat I previously had to cut away, and now she lets me groom her without a fight. Huge improvement in coat health and less traumatic grooming for both of us.

Buy It — Seriously Transformative Tool
This is the most effective de-shedder I’ve tried. It pulls enormous amounts of hair very quickly. My model has a hair-release feature which makes cleanup simple. Short of shaving, nothing I’ve used removes that much loose fur so fast.

What You See Is What You Get — Cat Edition
I chose the 6.3 cm head and it fits comfortably in the palm; it’s effortless to use even with wrist pain. My 12-year-old cat loves her sessions and often rubs her cheeks on the wooden part—introduce the brush to your pet so they can get used to it.

Small Dog Approved — Big Impact
Great for a small terrier with a heavy, old coat. It cleared out the thicker shelter fur and left a shiny, soft coat behind. Grooming was calming for the dog and shedding dropped dramatically.

Very Effective — Dogs Enjoy It
Tried on two dogs and it gently removed dead hair. They liked the massaging sensation, and I saw fewer loose hairs around the house. Well designed and safe; I recommend it.

Pairs Well with a Slicker Brush
Excellent at extracting loose hair from dense undercoat and tight spots. For my medium-haired cat I follow up with a slicker to smooth the coat. Handle and hair-collection aren’t perfect, but overall it’s an excellent complementary tool.
