    Good assortment and refillable

    Nice color variety and solid quality. I really like that refills are included — less waste and longer use. It would be great if refill-only packs were offered, but overall this is a smart set for regular colorists.

    Give them a chance — I did

    Most pens deliver rich color and smooth flow. The multi-color novelty pens, however, look flat on paper and appear grayish; they’d be better with glitter. A few neons were underwhelming, but the metallics and the case are great.

    I’d been using cheap pens that often skipped or were partially full. These came through immediately with no tapping or blowing to get them going. Even the glitter and pastels work reliably, and the colors are consistent and bright.
