Lightweight Foldable Wire Music Stand with Carry Bag — Black
Product description
Lightweight wire construction with a black powder-coat finish makes this stand easy to carry and resistant to scratches. The package contains the tripod base, an extension tube that inserts into the base, and a detachable wire bookplate; the parts come apart and nest for compact storage.
The bookplate accepts up to three 8.5" x 11" sheets and folds flat. It features small fold-out extensions that act as page stops to help keep loose pages or thin books in place during use.
Height adjusts from 26" up to 42.75", so it can be used by seated players or those standing. The tripod is capped with rubber feet for floor grip, and the assembly uses a friction-style clutch to lock the extension at the chosen height. A soft carrying bag is included for transport and storage.
Pros
- Very portable and folds compactly
- Detachable bookplate with fold-out page stops
- Adjustable height suits seated or standing use
Cons
- Angle of the tray is fixed
- Thin leg pieces may bend if knocked over
- Some small fit-and-finish issues with the extension
VerdictA simple, travel-friendly wire stand that balances portability and basic functionality. The steel wire bookplate and tubular tripod assemble quickly into a stable platform for sheet music or softbound books. It folds down small into the included bag, making it useful for lessons, rehearsals, or on-the-go practice. Expect a utilitarian design: decent stability and a reliable locking clutch, but lim

Does the Job, Some Wobble
I like that it compacts for transport and is highly adjustable. It is a bit flimsy feeling, but it has reliably held music for me. Good value for occasional use.

Functional but Displays Cost-Saving Choices
You get a functional stand but there are design compromises. It doesn't reach tall enough for my 6' frame, the tray never lies perfectly flat so pages can slip, the angle is fixed farther back than I prefer, and the extension can stick and require tools to free. The bag and light weight are positives.

Compact and Straightforward Assembly
This was my first stand and it fit my need for something simple and small. It arrives in three parts — tripod, extension tube, and bookplate — that fit together firmly. The clutch grips the tube without deforming it. If the bookplate won’t slide on with the lock engaged, release the clamp and rotate the tube away from the handle. Rubber feet help keep it steady.

Durable and Adjustable — Nice Carrying Case
Sturdy and easy to fold, which worked well for our household with different players. The case is a helpful extra. It sets up quickly and has held up over repeated use. Watch the rubber feet since they slide on and can be misplaced if you move the stand often.

Small, Portable, Adequately Sturdy
Folds down small enough to fit in a pouch under two feet tall. Once built, it holds sheet music and softbound books without wobble. Tray angle is fixed and the flat metal legs could bend if kicked, but for a travel stand it performs well.

Surprisingly Portable and Solid
Bought it for portability and strength and was impressed. It packs into a very small bag and sets up quickly. The metal feels sturdy and the height adjusts easily. Very portable, easy to use, and robust enough for travel.

Sturdy, Compact, and Useful
Has been durable and collapses neatly. I like the black finish and the included case; I gave the bag to a student. I even hang my violin and bow on it with a hanger and it holds up fine. A small lip on the tray to stop papers would be a nice addition.
