Adjustable 4-Tier Metal Shoe Rack — Expandable 34.6–45.6 in, Black
Product description
This is a four-tier metal shoe rack built from two two-layer units stacked together to form a single tall organizer. Each two-layer module accommodates roughly six adult sneakers across the length, with the bottom row providing extra room for slippers, flip-flops, or flats. Each tier is rated to support up to 20 pounds.
The shelf system is expandable and stackable: the length adjusts between 34.6 inches and 45.6 inches to fit a variety of closet and entryway widths, and multiple units can be stacked vertically to create an 8-tier arrangement when you need more capacity. Individual modules can be removed to create taller openings for boots.
Constructed from rust-resistant, thickened metal tubing with perforated mesh panels, this rack resists sagging and stays rigid compared with cloth alternatives. The open metal shelves also double as general shelving for bottled beverages, books, small plants, or other household items, making it useful in hallways, garages, dorms, patios, and wardrobe interiors.
Overall dimensions are L 34.6"–45.6" (adjustable) x W 8.8" x H 34.6". The vertical clearance between each shelf section is approximately 8.6 inches, suitable for most low- to mid-height footwear.
Assembly takes only a few minutes and requires no additional tools: instructions, screws, and the hex key are included. Adjustable feet on the base help level the unit on uneven floors and keep the rack steady after installation.
Pros
- Solid metal construction resists sagging
- Length adjusts and units can be stacked
- Includes hardware and quick to assemble
Cons
- Shallow depth not ideal for very wide boots
- Each shelf rated around 20 lb
- Some fasteners can be fiddly to tighten
VerdictA sturdy, versatile metal shoe organizer that adapts to tight closets and narrow entryways. The modular design lets you extend the length or stack units to add more tiers. Durable metal mesh shelves avoid the sagging seen with fabric options and the included hardware and hex key make set up fast. Good for sneakers, flats, and lighter boots, though very heavy work boots may need beefier shelving.

Very sturdy choice
One of the sturdiest racks I’ve owned. Assembly is simple though the instructions could be clearer.

Handy and versatile
I use it for shoes and helmets at the bottom of my closet. Easy to assemble and stackable if you need extra tiers; heavier work boots may require stronger metal.

Better than flimsy plastic options
I replaced cheap plastic racks with this metal unit and it’s a night-and-day difference. The extension locks in where you want it and the metal mesh holds shoes solidly. It came well packed with screws and the hex key. I could only extend mine to 39" because of baseboards, and at that length it stays steady even fully loaded.
