Good coverage — odd scent

Third time’s the charm
After trying two lesser units, this one is clearly better engineered. The two layers are bonded — you can’t separate them — and the sealed ribs sit away from the trim. It fits my 2021 Subaru Forester very well with minimal light leakage. I positioned the mirror slit inward and the shade blocks light nicely. The center handle lifts to let the rubber knob rest under the dash lip so the fabric hugs the glass more closely. Color is beige/tan, not black with blue trim.

Measure first for best fit
Ignore automated fit suggestions and measure your windshield. The XS fits my 2024 Nissan Frontier nicely even though automated tools warned against it. It blocks light well and keeps the cab cooler. I picked the umbrella style to save storage space when folded.

Poor quality compared to listing
I’m disappointed — what I received looked like a thin nylon umbrella rather than the vinyl product shown. The case lacked branding and the finish and edges didn’t match the photos. I returned it and the replacement was the same poor match, so I sent it back again. Check what you’re sent against the listing carefully.

Very pleased — does the job
This windshield shade feels durable and has a nice texture. Installation takes only seconds with no tools, and the cooling effect is obvious — the cabin is much more comfortable after parking in the sun. It fits my car snugly without gaps and stores compactly. Good value for summer driving.
