No plastic in the water stream: every surface that meets the water is either 304 food-grade stainless steel or borosilicate glass — no plastic spout liner or plastic where the water matters. That construction gives a neutral tasting path for tea, coffee, and general hot water use.
Four one-touch temperature settings take the guesswork out of brewing: 175°F for green and white teas, 195°F for oolongs, 200°F for French-press coffee, and 212°F for fast-boil and black tea. The included removable infuser is made from food-grade 304 stainless steel to steep loose leaf or hold tea bags; it lifts out for pouring, making oatmeal, instant foods, and other kitchen uses simple.
The body is 1.5 liters of borosilicate glass seated on a stainless steel base; finishes available include stainless, black, or blue to suit different kitchens. The kettle sits on a cordless 360° pickup base with an 80 cm power cord. The hidden heating element is lined in stainless steel and the unit runs at 1,500W, 120V. Safety listings include UL and ETL certification.
Built for regular use: the Keep-Warm function maintains the chosen preset for up to 30 minutes so a second cup pours hot without reheating. Protections include boil-dry prevention and automatic shut-off when a cycle completes. Buttons are backlit in warm white for visibility. The standard warranty is one year and can be extended to two years after product registration.

Handy as kettle and teapot
I bought it to keep tea hot but now use it as my regular kettle. Heats quickly and support answered my question fast. Only gripe: the perforated infuser could be slightly longer to allow proper brewing at 250 cc.

Mostly great with a few annoyances
Pros: glass and stainless water path, wide opening for cleaning, fast heating, effective keep-warm, clear glass fill marks, warranty extension on registration. Cons: the frequent beeping can be loud and bothersome early in the morning.

Good design, poor parts availability
I love the clear glass and features, but the stainless infuser failed and replacements aren’t offered. Customer service hasn’t helped; they seem to prefer selling a whole new unit instead of spare parts.

Keeps water hot for pour-overs and tea
We use it for Chemex pour-over and the keep-warm means we don’t reboil between pours. The infuser makes a whole pot of tea that stays hot on warm. Auto shut-off works and the glass is easy to clean.
