Peel-and-Stick No-Drill Curtain Rod Brackets — Adhesive Holders
Product description
Avoid drilling and hardware when mounting lightweight curtains with these no-drill adhesive rod brackets. Intended for renters, dorms, RVs and anyone who wants a quick update without damaging walls, they accept curtain poles between 0.6 and 1.5 inches in diameter so you can swap blinds for curtains without special tools.
The fittings combine thickened plastic bodies with stainless-steel components for daily use. The package is offered in multi-packs; note that each pair of brackets is rated to support up to 20 lb when installed with the adhesive method. For best adhesion, thoroughly clean and dry the intended surface, press the bracket firmly into place, and allow the bond to set for 24 hours before hanging your rod.
The brackets are designed to be water- and moisture-resistant, making them suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and other humid locations where standard adhesive products might fail. Their sealed construction helps them retain grip in damp environments.
These stick-on holders perform best on smooth, nonporous surfaces such as glass, tile, marble and stainless steel. On rough or uneven materials like drywall, concrete, plaster or raw wood, the adhesive option is less reliable; for those, use the screw-in holes for a permanent mount. Beyond curtains, they also work for towel bars, shower rods, kitchen hanging rails and similar light-duty applications. The understated design blends with most decor and makes them a practical gift for friends or family updating rental or temporary spaces.
Pros
- No drilling or tools required
- Waterproof and suitable for humid rooms
- Holds rods from 0.6–1.5 in. diameter
Cons
- Must wait 24 hours after pressing before use
- Adhesion depends on very clean, smooth surfaces
- Less reliable on drywall or rough substrates
VerdictA convenient, renter-friendly way to hang curtains and lightweight rods without drilling. Constructed from reinforced plastic and stainless steel with upgraded adhesive, each adhered pair supports up to 20 lb. Best on smooth surfaces and humid rooms, they save time and avoid wall damage, though performance depends heavily on surface prep and placement.

Apartment-Friendly
Worked well for my apartment windows. Removing them took patience but they did come off without harming the wall.

Simple and Sturdy
Loved the no-screw option. They included small nails if you prefer permanent mounting, which I used. After a year they’re still holding my curtains nicely in living room and bedroom. Would recommend.

Spot-On Fit
Installation was straightforward and the adhesive is very strong. They’re sturdy but placement must be accurate since the adhesive is permanent. They worked so well I ordered more.

Adhesive Size Concern
Bought the transparent style and noticed only about a 1/2 inch of double-stick tape on the back. I prepped the wall well but two fell after about four hours while holding a single valance. I tried reapplying but had repeated failures.

Perfectly Simple
I don’t do heavy lifting and these were ideal. Adhesive is strong but placement must be exact. Lightweight and they include screws if you want a permanent option. Easy install and feel durable so far.

Skip the Handyman — Quick Setup
I needed blackout curtains but couldn’t get a handyman. These arrived fast and were so simple to use. I ended up ordering extras and even used a pair to hang a blind when drilling wasn’t an option. The adhesion felt strong and the brackets held well—pleasantly surprised by the stability.

Adhesive Failed
Bought a box hoping for better grip. Despite prepping the surface, the hooks all peeled off. Compared to other adhesive options these were disappointing. Save your money.

Mixed Results in Use
I used them for sidelights and they looked robust, but after leaving them set overnight two held fine and two fell a few hours after hanging light curtains. I reinstalled them carefully but one fell again overnight. I’ll likely opt for screwed brackets next time.
