Monte Carlo Maverick 60" Outdoor Ceiling Fan — 3-Blade, Remote, Matte White
Product description
Overall dimensions: 60-inch diameter sweep; total drop from ceiling to bottom of housing is 11.7 inches when fitted with the supplied 6" downrod. Unit weight is approximately 10.6 lbs.
Blades and airflow: Three outdoor-rated balsa wood blades in a matte white finish provide a 60" span with a 12° blade pitch. Tested airflow is about 4,551 CFM, suitable for moving a lot of air in living rooms, covered patios, and rooms with higher ceilings.
Motor and controls: The fan is equipped with a premium, energy-efficient DC motor (approximate dimensions 85 x 28 mm) that is designed for low power draw and quiet running. A six-speed handheld remote is included; the remote supports direction reversal for summer/winter airflow patterns and individual speed settings.
Installation and approvals: Mounting hardware for flat ceilings is supplied and the fan is rated for damp locations with UL and CUL approvals. It can be installed with the included 6" downrod but the downrod can be shortened if a closer-to-ceiling profile is desired. Blades are precision-balanced for low vibration and whisper-quiet operation.
Pros
- High airflow with very quiet DC motor
- Includes six-speed handheld remote with reverse
- Slim, low-profile design suited for damp locations
Cons
- Blades may show slight grain/lamination mismatches
- Remote-only control can be inconvenient if misplaced
- Some buyers report blade-matching and wobble adjustments
VerdictThe Maverick 60 delivers strong, quiet airflow and an elegant low-profile look for covered outdoor or indoor vaulted spaces. It includes a six-speed remote and an efficient 85 x 28 mm DC motor; installation is straightforward for someone comfortable with ceiling wiring. Blade finish and occasional setup quirks (blade matching, remote programming) are minor given the performance and design.

Once you have one, you keep buying them
These Mavericks cover the whole room even on low speeds. We now have six in the house and wouldn't switch to another model. Extremely pleased with performance.

Beautiful and reliable
We own two of these and they run all summer without issue, and help circulate warm air in winter. They perform exactly as expected; wish we had added a third in the loft.

A real luxury fan
Design, materials and operation are outstanding. I've used it daily for 18 months and it remains excellent. Worth every penny.

High quality and easy to install
The five-foot blade span moves air efficiently and the unit is basically silent. I already had ceiling support in place so installation took me about 30 minutes. Performance and looks are impressive enough that I'm planning to buy another for a different room.

Good performance, minor finish flaws
I like the styling and it pushes a lot of air at top speed. Two areas for improvement: blade lamination shows joins and grain inconsistencies, and there’s no alternative to the remote on the base. A manual switch would be a nice backup.

Stylish and functional in living room
We installed the 60" in our living room and love how sleek it looks—almost like ceiling art. Despite a slightly fiddly install, it fits our eclectic decor well. We liked it enough that we may swap to the 70" model for the main space.

Great airflow, had wobble issues
Fan is whisper-quiet and moves air well, and assembly was straightforward. With a 36" downrod I experienced notable wobble that I traced to blades not matching perfectly. It took time and trial weights to balance; for the price I expected closer blade uniformity.

Quiet with powerful airflow
Six speed settings, with the top speed delivering strong air movement while staying remarkably quiet. The lightweight wooden blades look nice and are reversible for direction change. It costs more than some alternatives, but I appreciate the combination of performance and style.

Adding more around the house
Purchased another as the heat rose; we now have three in different zones. They’re quiet and attractive. Programming individual remotes took patience but works reliably. I recommend this fan for larger open areas.

Should have bought sooner
Quiet and moves air well. My partner wanted one years ago and I delayed—she was right. It lets us raise the AC thermostat a bit overnight and should save energy.

Attractive design, required extra wiring work
I bought a used unit for less and installed it under a 15' ceiling, running half-inch conduit to reach the location. As a former contractor the physical work at height was tedious but doable; the fan itself mounted in about an hour. The remote didn't respond right away, but after checking wiring and resetting the receiver it began working fine. Overall pleased with the look and airflow.

Good fan but listing implied a light
The fan itself is great, but the technical details suggested a light might be included. There is no light or light kit option available, which surprised me.

Low-profile and elegant
We wanted a fan that sat close to the ceiling and looked refined. By trimming the downrod we got it nearer to the ceiling and it still runs silently. It moves air well and doubles as a decorative element—worth the investment for the aesthetic alone.
