Mid-Century Faux Leather Accent Armchairs — Set of 2 (Brown)
Product description
Set contents and build: This listing is for a set of two armchairs. Each chair ships with the chair frame, tapered wood legs and wood arms, assembly hardware, and an instruction sheet. The main upholstery is a brown, waterproof faux leather that resists scratches and is simple to wipe clean.
Comfort and construction: The seat and backrest are filled with soft, high-density foam and supported by high-gauge sinuous springs for added resilience. The seat cushion measures 6 cm (2.4") in thickness, offering a plush yet supportive feel. The slightly sloped backrest and sculpted armrests create a comfortable club-chair posture.
Design and materials: Influenced by mid-century modern design, each chair features a low-profile seat, gently curved armrests that contrast with the straight seat lines, and angled wooden legs that provide a retro silhouette. The arms and legs are crafted from solid wood for a stable frame.
Stability and floor protection: Each leg includes adjustable levelers so you can compensate for uneven surfaces and reduce the risk of floor scuffs or scratches. Tightening the levelers helps keep the chair steady in daily use.
Care and maintenance: Compared with woven fabrics, the faux leather upholstery needs minimal upkeep. For routine cleaning, wipe spills or dirt away with a damp cloth and then dry. Spot cleaning is usually sufficient to keep the finish looking fresh.
Pros
- Retro mid-century design with wood arms and tapered legs
- Supportive 6 cm (2.4") high-density foam over sinuous springs
- Waterproof faux leather that's easy to clean
Cons
- Lower seat height than conventional chairs
- Assembly can be fiddly and some fasteners may be hard to align
- Cushion attachment points may wear with heavy or frequent use
VerdictThese two mid-century inspired accent chairs combine retro styling with practical materials. The faux leather is durable and easy to maintain, while the 6 cm (2.4") foam cushions and high-gauge sinuous springs deliver comfortable support. Assembly can be fiddly for some users and the seat sits lower than standard chairs, so they suit lounge-style seating or modern interiors better than situations

Only one chair arrived
I received just a single chair but ordered a set of two.

Broke after light use
Had two chairs for about five months and they sat unused mostly. One collapsed where the cushion connects while I was sitting. Very disappointed.

Surprisingly comfortable
These are the most comfortable chairs I’ve had. I’d buy another pair — they fit our living room well and are worth it.

Simple to assemble, looks great
Very straightforward to put together and looks much better in person. Better value than I expected.

Attractive but quite low
Nice materials and a pretty finish, but the seat sits much lower to the floor than I anticipated.

Watch the dimensions
They look fine but are far too low for our waiting area. Older guests had trouble getting up because these are much lower than a typical chair. Photo compared to a basic waiting chair available elsewhere.

Great mid-century vibe
I wanted mid-century pieces on a budget and these fit the bill. They’re low, which gives a modern/Asian feel, match my decor, feel sturdy, and were quick to assemble. Considering buying two more.

Assembly issues and lower than pictured
They look attractive and are comfortable, but they're much shorter than they appear. Putting them together was tricky; some holes didn’t line up and the small round caps that cover the upper fasteners won’t stay in place.
