Magnets aren’t as automatic as advertised
Installation instructions were awkwardly written but straightforward. The screen wasn’t perfectly square so I had to reposition the Velcro so the magnets would meet correctly. They take a bit of effort to start connecting, so it’s not as instant as claimed. I also worry small bugs could slip in at the bottom.

Stands up to an energetic dog

Solid affordable alternative to a fixed screen
Very pleased with this inexpensive mesh—fits my front door exactly and installs quickly with the sticky Velcro. The magnets pull the panels together right after passing through, and airflow is excellent. The mesh seems sturdy if you handle it carefully. My dog sometimes slips under the bottom, so it’s good for pets that don’t dig or push at the lower edge.

Works well, easy for wheelchair users

Sturdy construction and clean finish

Didn’t work for my door
Not suitable for me—magnets didn’t hold and the panel tapered so it fit at the top but was too narrow below. Felt flimsy overall.

Does the job despite looks
I appreciate having it despite not being pretty. I buy one about once a year because my pups scratch and tear it when they get excited. It’s affordable and keeps insects out while letting air and pets move freely. Super simple to put up and the wider size covers my door and sidelights well.

Practical and effective through the season
Worth every penny this summer. With three dogs and an open kitchen door all day, I usually get a lot of flies—this year I saw maybe half a dozen. Easy to put up with sticky Velcro and fine if pets pull it loose occasionally. Planning to use one again next season.
