Plant-Based Citrus Dish Soap — 23.7 fl oz, EWG Verified
Product description
What you get: a 23.7 fl oz bottle of plant-based dish soap (single bottle), plus the brand offers larger eco-refill bag-in-box pouches for topping up dispensers.
Formula and ingredients: the detergent uses plant- and mineral-derived surfactants and cleansing agents that create a generous foam and remove grease, oil, and dried-on food residue. The recipe is reported as 97% naturally derived per ISO 16128 and is preserved with food-grade sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate. It is formulated without bleach, SLS, SLES, synthetic dyes, alcohol, formaldehyde-releasing agents, or MIT/CMIT preservatives.
Scent and feel: labeled as Citrus Zest, the fragrance opens with bright citrus top notes layered over floral and herbaceous lavender accents for a fresh, uplifting kitchen aroma. The rinse is designed to leave dishes spotless and hands feeling soft rather than stripped.
Performance and use: designed to cut grease on plates, pots, and pans while remaining safe for crystal, glassware, and fine china. The concentrated lather tackles everyday soil; very heavy grease may require extra product or soaking. Bottle is molded from widely recyclable HDPE #2 and intended to be refilled from the brand’s bag-in-box refill format to reduce waste. The product is vegan and cruelty-free.

The recyclable HDPE #2 bottle and refillable bag-in-box option help reduce single-use plastic. If

Solid everyday cleaner with a pleasant scent
I’ve been using this regularly and appreciate the mild, fresh scent that isn’t overwhelming. It removes typical grease and food residue well, rinses clean, and doesn’t leave my hands feeling overly dry. For very greasy pans I’ll use a bit more or soak, but for routine dishes it performs reliably and feels like a gentler alternative to harsher detergents.

Eco-friendly refill option and effective formula
I try to cut household waste, so the refill pouch is fantastic. The concentrated formula tackles grease while staying gentle on my hands, and a little goes a long way. Refilling dispensers from the bag reduces single-use bottles, which I appreciate.

Cleans well and kind to skin
I like the fresh citrus aroma that isn’t overpowering. It cuts grease and food residue effectively and leaves no heavy chemical odor. The mostly natural, vegan formula makes me comfortable using it every day, and it foams nicely.

Fixed my spouse’s eczema — very gentle
My partner had irritation from other soaps and switching to this cleared it up. The formula is skin-friendly yet cleans dishes thoroughly. Foaming is moderate, scent is nice, and the clear appearance is a plus — worth the purchase.

Great non-toxic replacement for conventional soap
This replaced my old dish soap and I prefer it. The fragrance is light, it’s gentle on my hands, and it rinses away without leaving film. It handles grease efficiently so you don’t need a lot; I’d recommend it as a cleaner, less toxic swap.

Fresh-smelling and long-lasting
This soap does a great job cleaning and cuts grease without needing much product. The citrus scent is pleasant and not overpowering. The large bottle lasts a long time and I’d buy it again.

Works well; packaging improved but pricey
We’ve used this for some time. Recent bottles finally included a pull tab that made opening much easier — a welcome change. The soap has good suds and removes grease better than many harsher options, but the unscented variety feels expensive compared with other clean-ingredient brands.

Impressive lather and no chemical smell
I’m new to this soap but very pleased so far. It foams well, cleans dishes effectively, and lacks that harsh manufactured scent. Glad I made the switch to a more eco-friendly detergent.

Good cleaning power but packaging can be problematic
The soap itself cleans dishes and leaves them spot-free, but the boxed refill concept didn’t work well for me. Cardboard near the sink becomes soggy and the dispenser clogged several times, forcing me to open the box to push the bag and clear the valve. It cleaned fine, but the packaging issues were frustrating.

Very disappointing—severe leakage on arrival
I hadn’t used the product yet, but the plastic packaging was badly leaking when I opened it. Cleaning the bottle was a hassle, and with that much leakage I suspect I received less product than expected. Really unhappy with the condition it arrived in.

Excellent for degreasing and baby items
Seller was thoughtful and reliable. The product works great to remove grease and is safe enough to use on baby bottles.

Good middle ground between harsh and gentle
If you want effective grease removal without harsh irritation or long-lasting residue, this is a good pick. It doesn’t obliterate the heaviest grime instantly but performs well enough, rinses quickly, and is gentle on bare hands. The container is hefty but attractive, and the scent is pleasant — worth trying.

Kind to hands and the planet
Not flashy, but it’s gentle on skin and better for the environment than many alternatives.
