Organic White Quinoa — 4 lb Pre-Washed Whole Grain (Plant Protein)
Product description
This package contains 4 pounds of organic white quinoa — whole, pre-washed seeds that have been mechanically de-saponized to remove bitterness. The grains are sourced from the Southern Highlands of the Andean Plateau and are noted for being slightly larger, rounder and more flavorful than some other varieties.
Use it like any whole grain: simmered as a side in place of rice or pasta, folded into warm or chilled salads, stirred into gluten-free oatmeal and cereals for breakfast, or ground into your own quinoa flour for baking muffins, cakes and other treats. It also pairs well with stir-fries, curries and grain bowls.
Nutritionally, a typical serving delivers about 6 g of plant protein and roughly 3 g of fiber, and the white quinoa is a source of magnesium and iron. Because it’s pre-washed, the usual saponin bitterness is removed, making it cook up cleaner and milder tasting.
The quinoa arrives in a bulk bag suitable for pantry storage and repeated use. It’s made from whole quinoa seeds, with no added ingredients, so preparation is straightforward: measure, simmer with water, and season as desired.
Certified USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified, this quinoa is labeled gluten-free, vegan and kosher, offering a convenient, certified option for many dietary needs.

Good value but watch for grit
I buy this regularly for the price, but a recent bag contained some sandy particles that made chewing unpleasant. I’ll need a better sieve to rinse it before cooking. On the plus side, there’s no bitter coating so cooking straight from the bag has been fine before. If you’re sensitive to tiny grit, plan to rinse with a fine strainer.

Pre-rinsed convenience is worth it
Rinsing quinoa is fiddly and you can waste grains during transfer. Having it pre-rinsed avoids that mess and saves money compared with local pre-washed brands. I keep this on hand for summer salads and BBQ sides — toss in some shredded carrots and a dairy-free dressing for a quick, gluten-free dish that comes together fast.

Light, fluffy, and a pantry staple
We adore this quinoa. The pre-washed seeds save a step and the cooked texture is light, fluffy and free of bitterness. It makes a reliable rice or pasta substitute and works well with just olive oil and salt. I use it for soups, grain bowls, salads and even morning bowls — it holds up every time and the 4 lb size lasts a long while. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a nutritious, versatile grain in their pantry.

Smart bulk buy
I cook this in the Instant Pot and it clearly comes pre-washed. For the cost, it’s much more economical than small store packages. Quinoa keeps well in the fridge for several days and is a reliable component of my meal prep.

Top pick for quality
I like that it’s organic, locally connected, and pre-washed. I haven’t found any rocks in the packs I’ve opened, which makes it my go-to brand over others I’ve tried.

A wholesome, comforting option
This quinoa tastes great and is packed with nutrients, which is why I finally tried it at my mom’s suggestion. Cooked, it reminded me of a lighter, nutty cream-of-wheat texture, perfect for mixing with spices, dried fruits and seeds. It’s simple to prepare, smells pleasantly nutty, and adds prebiotic-friendly ingredients to morning or evening meals. Excellent organic choice for a nutrition boost.

Huge, hearty grains when cooked
When cooked the grains swell nicely. I measure about 100 ml for two, rinse by filling the pot and draining through a lid gap a few times, then add roughly 230 ml water and simmer low for about 30 minutes. It can be softer than some prefer, but I find it easier to eat that way. The newer batches are even easier to prepare now that they’re pre-washed.

Fresh flavor and easy to prepare
The bag arrived quickly and the packaging is sturdy with a zip closure. The quinoa is organic, pre-washed and has a nice nutty aroma. I eat it several times a week — a quarter cup dry makes a satisfying portion with 6 g of protein. It cooks easily; just be mindful with draining if you choose to rinse again. Overall a dependable, healthy side instead of heavier, fattier choices.
