On our very first evening, we ventured into the charming harbour town of Porthleven, successfully securing a coveted window seat at the historic Harbour Inn. After weeks of political upheaval and uncertainty back home, there was something profoundly comforting and reassuring in these familiar, distinctly British tastes and sounds. In true British fashion, the weather during our stay proved to be wonderfully changeable. Both Amelie’s and Kota came highly recommended to us, and the renowned Rick Stein also has a restaurant gracing the harbour front. While these options were certainly tempting, we ultimately decided to forgo them. The irresistible comfort and breathtaking views offered by Delphin called us back. Instead of dining out, we eagerly returned to our private sanctuary, ready to pop open the bottle of champagne we had left chilling in the fridge, savoring the unparalleled ambiance and scenery right from our own terrace.
