What you get: one 36" x 48" flat chair mat designed for hard flooring.
Materials and construction: the underside is made from high-adhesion TPR (thermoplastic rubber) adsorption material that keeps the mat from shifting or curling. The top layer features a soft, carpet-like loop fabric that provides smooth, low-resistance rolling and gentle support for caster wheels. A thin PE protective film covers the bottom—remove it before laying the mat down. Not intended for use on carpeted floors.
Floor protection and sound control: the mat creates a barrier against scratches, scuffs, wheel marks and general wear on hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, stone and concrete. The looped surface and dense backing also help reduce rolling noise, making late-night work or gaming less disruptive.
Unpacking and flattening: the mat often ships folded or rolled. Minor creases relax quickly; you can speed flattening with a low-heat iron (follow fabric-safe settings) or by weighting the corners with books until it lies flat.
Installation and upkeep: prep the area by cleaning and drying the floor, peel off the bottom PE film, place the white TPR side down and press gently to engage the grip. Clean the surface with a vacuum, broom or floor sweeper—do not machine wash. The mat rolls compactly for storage and retains its adhesion after reuse. It can be trimmed with scissors or a utility knife to fit irregular spaces or to achieve a custom shape.
